"Driver's Ed at Your Speed"
Social Motion Skills and Houston's driving schools, Safeway Driving Centers, have combined their expertise to offer a comprehensive drivers' education program specifically designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and ADHD.  Safeway's state authorized driving curriculum has been approved and adapted by Social Motion Skills' education experts to bring ASD/ADHD families the most comprehensive driving program in the country.  The result is "Driver's Ed At Your Speed."

Mikey's Place is partnering with Santikos Theatres in Tomball, TX to bring you Sensory Friendly Family Films the first Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. These presentations will feature lower volumes, brighter lighting, shorter previews and an accepting environment.  Guests with intellectual disabilities are admitted FREE.  See www.santikos.com for more info.  Located at 24720 State Hwy 249; Tomball, TX  77375.

More Houston Area Movie Theatres Offer Sensory Friendly Movies

The AMC Willowbrook location also offers "Sensory Friendly Films" once per month for families affected by Autism. These auditoriums will have their lights up and the sound turned down.  "Audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing!"  Visit www.amctheatres.com for more info.

The Studio Movie Grill offers FREE children's admission to families raising children with special needs.  Adult ticket prices are the regular stated price.  Movies are offered once per month at 11:00 am and shows vary each month.  Two locations in Houston:
